Due to the success of our second Ride4Justin, we were able to give out three scholarships this year.
The first scholarship was awarded to an immediate family member of the Southington Fire Department, the recipient was Katelyn Wood, sister of Southington firefighter Ray Halpin.
The second scholarship was awarded to Daniel Costa, a firefighter in the Wolcott fire department. Daniels father is also a Wolcott firefighter.
The third scholarship was awarded to Christina Bolduc, a firefighter and EMT in the South Windsor fire department.
The recipients selected this year by the Ride4Justin Scholarship Committee, all have a very impressive history of volunteering their time and skills to help other people. We are proud to award the scholarships to them.
